Pizza and a Buzz

"I will take a slice of pepperoni and 6 garlic
breads please."
I was stoned off my ass and trying satisfying my munchies at the local pizza pizza with a few of my friends. It was pretty busy that night, a lot of traffic and you could tell the guys working there were all part of the same Chinese family (No hate) and had no idea of what they were doing. Anyhow, I pay for the food and wait about 10 minutes, finally I get my garlic bread. It looks like shit but hey, I am hungry. I then ask for my slice. The old asshat at the counter looks at me for a few seconds, realizes I am baked and tries to take advantage of me. "I already gives you slice!" he proclaims. I look at him, and knew there was going to be trouble. "Uh No you didn't, now I want my god damn slice." "No no, you already got it!" "That's BULLSHIT, you and I both know I did not get my slice. Now hand it over." The argument begins to escalate. This idiot was just not going to give up. As it got louder, he then begins to tell me outrageous stories about how my friend stole my slice, etc. As you can see, it was getting pretty serious. I am baked and have a serious case of the munchies. The only thing standing in my way is some old bastard who is trying to steal a measly slice of pizza. Most people would have probably given up in my shoes. I was about to, until he than maked a crack about how red my eyes are. I got pissed. I blasted him, demanding for my slice and loudly proclaiming to everyone in the store how he was a filthy thief. The guy at the cash ends up calling some teenager from the back who was now on break and the kid confesses that he does not remember giving me a slice. He finally cops up and gives me my fresh slice of peperoni pizza. By this time, all my friends were done eating and were about to leave, so I asked for a bag. The kid begins to bag it, and there right in front of me the old man has the nerve to whisper not to give me one. I tell him I can hear you and get my bag. 20 Minutes worth of arguments later, I get my slice. (Talk about buzz kill.) I must admit, that was the best god damn slice of pizza I have EVER sunk my teeth into. Victory tasted good that night. -Jon |
