HOW TO: MAKE A WATER PIPE

DIRECTIONS FOR MAKING A WATER PIPE (BONG)

Step 1: Materials		Materials needed: Two-liter plastic bottle or water bottle (as shown), scissors, electrical tape, foil, and a pen.
Step 2: Poke it		Using the scissors, poke a pen-sized hole into the front of the bottle.
Step 3: Push It		The shaft of the pen will be used as the stem for your water pipe.  Take apart the pen and push the shaft diagonally (down) into the hole.
Step 4: Tape it		If the hole you poked is too large, tape around the “stem” in order to create an airtight seal.
Step 5: Carb it		Cut an eraser-sized hole in the bottle in the place where your thumb will rest while you smoke.  This hole will be used as the carb.
Step 6: Hit it		Lastly, you’ll want to make a foil screen (not shown) that will help stop the weed from being sucked into the pipe and keep the pen from melting.  Now you’re ready to hit it.

BUD SAYS: Water pipes are a great way to filter and cool your smoke. However, because they can deliver a powerful punch, make sure not to overindulge.
